Does the system operate normally?

  1. Inspect the stabiliser bar, links, and insulators for wear or damage.
  2. Replace as necessary.
  3. • Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement for Front Suspension and Stabilizer Shaft Replacement for Rear Suspension.
    • Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement for Front Suspension and Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement for Rear Suspension
    • Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement for Front Suspension and Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement for Rear Suspension.

  1. Inspect the front suspension control arms, caster arms, tie rods and ball joints for wear or damage. For ball joint inspection refer to Ball Joint Inspection .
  2. Repair as necessary.

Inspect the wheel bearing for wear or damage. Refer to Front Wheel Hub Assembly Inspection and Rear Wheel Hub Assembly Inspection.

  1. Inspect the vehicle trim height. Refer to Trim Height Inspection in Suspension General Diagnosis.
  2. Repair as necessary.

Inspect the steering gear mounting bolts for looseness. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications.
