Perform the following procedure in order to diagnose the fasten seat belt reminder:

1. Release the driver's seat belt.
2. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position for 7 seconds.
3. Fasten the driver's seat belt.
4. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position.

1. The fasten seat belt reminder sounds for 5.4-6.6 seconds when the ignition switch is turned from the OFF position to the RUN position with the driver's seat belt is fastened.
2. The fasten seat belt reminder does not sound when the ignition switch is turned from the OFF position to the RUN position with the driver's seat belt fastened.

Perform the following procedure in order to diagnose the fasten belt indicator lamp:

1. Release the driver's seat belt.
2. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position for 70 seconds.
3. Fasten the driver's seat belt.
4. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position.

1. The fasten belt indicator lamp turns ON for 63-77 seconds when the ignition switch is turned from the OFF position to the RUN position with the driver's seat belt unfastened.
2. The fasten belt indicator lamp remains OFF when the ignition switch is turned from the OFF position to the RUN position with the driver's seat belt fastened.

Perform the following procedure in order to diagnose the turn signal reminder:

1. Test drive the vehicle for at least 1.2 km (3/4 mile) with the turn signal switch ON in either the left or the right turn position.
2. Move the turn signal switch to the OFF position.

The turn signal reminder sounds once for each flash of the turn signal lights when the turn signal switch is in either the left or the right turn position and the vehicle has traveled a distance of 1.2 km (3/4 mile).

Perform the following procedure in order to diagnose the driver information display or the trip calculator reminder:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Open and close a vehicle door while observing the Driver Information Display (DID).

The headlamps on reminder sounds when the following conditions exist:

1. The DID reminder sounds the chime 4 times upon opening a vehicle door.
2. The trip calculator reminder sounds the chime once each time the warning message is displayed on the trip calculator.

Perform the following procedure in order to diagnose the headlamps on reminder:

1. Ensure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
2. Remove the key from the ignition cylinder.
3. Open and close the driver's door.
4. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK or HEAD position.
5. Open and close the driver's door.
6. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
7. Open and close the driver's door again.
8. Turn the headlamp switch to the OFF position.

The headlamps on reminder sounds when the following conditions exist:
