Removal Procedure
  1. Open the rear sunshade. Vent the rear window.
  2. It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those step in headliner replacement that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the center window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement.

  4. Remove the rear vent window motor (1) from the motor/actuator compartment. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement.
  5. Remove the rear sunshade motor/actuator (6). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Motor/Actuator Replacement.
  6. Remove the rear vent window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement.
  7. Remove the rear sunshade assembly. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement.
  8. Remove the underside track to frame screws.

  9. Disengage the rear track from the sunroof motor/actuator compartment drive tube blocks (2).
  10. Lower the track assembly into the vehicle.
  11. Pull the sunshade drive cable from the drive tube rear window cam assembly.
  12. Pull the rear vent window cam cable assembly from the track.
  13. Remove the track from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the barrel end of the sunshade cable into the track.
  2. Position the rear vent window cable assembly to the rear track assembly, cable/cam end first.

    3. Equally push the track assembly into the cable allowing the track to reach the motor/actuator compartment.

  3. Push the cables evenly to the full forward position within the track.

  4. Install the retainer assembly (2) to the driver tubes (1, 5).
  5. Secure the bottom half of the retainer to the track (3).
  6. Position the rear track assembly to the underside of the sunroof frame.

    7. Object Number: 1301963 Size: SH
  7. Ensure that the rear cam pin is positioned into the rear cam block (2).
  8. Ensure that the tracks are parallel from side to side.
  9. Loosely install the track screws.

    10. Object Number: 903343 Size: SH
  10. Do not install the 2 rear sunshade assembly screws (2). The screws will be installed when the rear sunshade assembly is installed.

    11. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  11. Ensure that the tracks are parallel.

    12. Tighten

        • Tighten the center 5 screws to 9 N·m (44 lb in).
        • Tighten the front 5 screws to 9 N·m (44 lb in).
  12. Ensure that the sunshade barrels are slid rearward to the sunshade open position as removed.

  13. Install the rear sunshade assembly (2). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement.
  14. Install the rear sunshade motor/actuator. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Motor/Actuator Replacement.
  15. Install the rear vent window motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement.
  16. Install the center window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement.
  17. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
  18. Perform the sunroof rear vent window sunshade initialization procedure. Refer to Sunroof Rear Sunshade Initialization.
