Makes 🢒 Holden 🢒 2009 🢒 VE Sedan 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Oil Filter Adapter Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine covers. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
  2. Remove the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.
  3. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 1958035 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the A/C pressure transducer electrical connector (4).
  5. Disconnect the A/C compressor electrical connector (5).

    6. Important: DO NOT disconnect the A/C pipes (2) from the A/C compressor (6).

  6. Remove the A/C compressor to A/C compressor/power steering pump mounting bracket retaining bolts (1).
  7. Secure and reposition the A/C compressor (6) away from the A/C compressor mounting bracket (3) in order to gain access to the oil filter adapter to cylinder block retaining bolts..
  8. Remove the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Removal.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Installation.

    2. Object Number: 1958035 Size: SH

    Important: Make sure the A/C pipes (2) are not twisted or kinked upon compressor installation.

  2. Install the A/C compressor (6) with the A/C pipes (2) to the A/C compressor mounting bracket (3).
  3. Install the A/C compressor to A/C compressor mounting bracket retaining bolts (1).
  4. Connect the A/C pressure transducer electrical connector (4).
  5. Connect the A/C compressor electrical connector (5).
  6. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
  7. Install the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.
  8. Install the engine covers. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
