Verify that the right turn signal indicator is inoperative.

Does the right turn signal indicator operate normally?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN position with the engine OFF.
2. Turn the right turn signal ON.

Does the RF Turn Signal function properly?

Go to Step 4

Go to Turn Signal Lamp Inoperative - Right Side Front

1. Disconnect the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
2. Connect a test lamp from the connector terminal B11 to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate or flash?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

1. Inspect the instrument cluster printed circuit and the right turn signal indicator filament.
2. Repair as needed. Refer to Instrument Cluster Bulb Replacement or Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Was the problem found?

Go to Step 7

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1415 (DK BLU/WHT). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Locate and repair CKT 1050 (BLK) for an open to ground. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
