- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Disconnect the seat belt/ ignition key/ lamps alarm connector.
- Ensure the drivers seat belt buckle is unfastened (released).
- Connect a test lamp.
- Probe between B+ and the seat belt/ ignition key/ lamps alarm
harness connector terminal A2.
Does the test light illuminate?

- Disconnect the driver seat belt switch electrical connector.
- Connect a J 39200
digital multimeter (DMM).
- Measure the resistance between the driver seat belt switch harness
connector terminal A and the ground.
Is the resistance less than the specified value?

alarm harness connector terminal A2 and the driver seat belt switch
