Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Equinox 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1836024 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the throttle actuator control (TAC) module.

    3. Object Number: 1836025 Size: SH
  3. Remove the throttle body bolts.
  4. Remove the throttle body and gasket. Discard the gasket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1836025 Size: SH
  1. Position a NEW throttle body gasket to the upper intake manifold.
  2. Position the throttle body to the upper intake manifold.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the throttle body bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the TAC module.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
