Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Disconnect the steering column electronic lock.
3. Turn ON the ignition

Is the Service Column Lock message displayed?

System OK

Go to Step 3

Important: Perform the setup procedure for the steering column lock control module (SCLCM).

1. Replace the SCLCM. Refer to Steering Column Lock Control Module Replacement .
2. Perform the setup procedure for the SCLCM. Refer to Steering Column Lock Control Module Programming and Setup .
