Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Verify that the reverse park aid mirror option is turned ON for the current driver. Refer to Personalization Description and Operation .

Was the option ON or did you turn the reverse park aid option ON?

Go to Step 3

Go to Personalization System Malfunction

With the mirror control switches, operate the passenger door mirror in both the Up and Down directions.

Does the passenger door mirror operate in both directions?

Go to Step 4

Go to Power Mirrors Inoperative

  1. Start the engine.
  2. With the brake pedal depressed, move the gear shift selector into the reverse position.

Does the passenger outside rearview mirror tilt downward 10 degrees?

Go to Step 7

Inspect the poor connections at the appropriate passenger door module (PDM) harness connector. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs .

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 7

Important: Perform the setup procedure for the replacement door module. Refer to Door Control Module Programming and Setup .

Replace the PDM. Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming.
