Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 474612  Size: SH
  1. Remove the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
  2. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the 4 fasteners (1) retaining the IP cluster to the IP.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2) on each side of the IP cluster.
  5. Remove the IP cluster (3) from the IP.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 474612  Size: SH
  1. Install the IP cluster (3) to the IP.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors (2).
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the 4 fasteners (1).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the cluster fasteners to 1.5 N·m (14 lb in).

  6. Install the IP cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Install the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
