Removal Procedure

    Important: By removing the power sliding door (PSD) 15A fuse, the low current logic power for both the LH and RH power sliding door modules (PSDM) will be interrupted and both PSDs will be inoperative.

  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the plastic plugs from the lower front of the sliding door inner trim panel in order to gain access to the sliding door lower roller bracket to door bolts.
  3. Remove the sliding door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 319985  Size: SH

    Important: Loosen bolts one at a time on either one of the following brackets:

       • The sliding door lower roller bracket
       • The sliding door center roller bracket
    If you loosen more than 1 bracket at a time, you may cause a loss of sliding door alignment.

  5. Loosen 3 of the bolts on the sliding door lower roller bracket.
  6. Adjust the front edge of the sliding door up or down, as needed.
  7. Loosen the sliding door center roller bracket bolt.
  8. Adjust the rear edge of the sliding door up or down as needed.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Tighten the bolt that you loosened on the sliding door lower roller bracket.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the sliding door lower roller bracket bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Tighten the loosened sliding door center roller bracket bolt.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  5. Check and verify the current door adjustment.
  6. Install the sliding door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Install the plastic plugs to the lower front of the sliding door Inner trim panel in order to cover the sliding door lower roller bracket bolts.
  8. Important: By installing the 15A fuse, the low current logic power will be restored to both the LH and RH PSDMs and the PSDs will be operational. However, both PSDMs will have to learn the full open and full closed positions of the PSD. Refer to Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module Programming and Setup .

  9. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
