Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 755866  Size: SH
  3. Remove the seal from the wiper motor driveshaft.
  4. Remove the liftgate access trim panel.
  5. Remove the rear wiper motor screws.
  6. Disconnect the rear wiper motor electrical connector.
  7. Remove the rear wiper motor from the liftgate.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 755866  Size: SH
  1. Connect the rear wiper motor electrical connector.
  2. Position the rear wiper motor to the liftgate.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the rear wiper motor screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  6. Install the liftgate access trim panel.
  7. Install the seal onto the rear wiper motor driveshaft.
  8. Install the rear wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement .
