J 39822 Wiper Arm Puller

Removal Procedure

  1. Use tape or an erasable marker to mark position of wiper blade on the rear window.

  2. Object Number: 755876  Size: SH
  3. Remove the cap from the rear wiper arm.
  4. Remove the rear wiper arm nut.
  5. Using J 39822 , remove the rear wiper arm.
  6. Remove the rear wiper blade from the rear wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Blade Replacement .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear wiper blade onto the rear wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Blade Replacement .
  2. Align the rear wiper blade with the mark on the rear window.
  3. Install the rear wiper arm onto the rear wiper motor spindle.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the rear wiper arm nut.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  7. Install the cap to the rear wiper arm.
  8. Remove the mark from the rear window.
