Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the inner energy absorber. Refer to Rear Door Energy Absorber Pad Replacement .
  4. Remove the inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Remove the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  6. Remove the rear door frame molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .

  7. Object Number: 326002  Size: SH
  8. Remove the window mounting bolts (1, 2).
  9. Remove the window.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 326002  Size: SH
  1. Position the window between the inner and the outer panels.
  2. Point the lower front corner of the window down.
  3. Pass the window through the belt opening.
  4. Align the edges with the door window weatherstrip.

  5. Turn the window to the horizontal position.
  6. Align the holes in the window with the holes in the regulator. Ensure that both sealing lips on the front door outer belt sealing strip are not rolled over and pointing downward. If this condition is present, the window will not raise properly.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the window to regulator bolts (1, 2). Tighten the forward bolt first.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the forward window to regulator bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  9. Tighten the rearward bolt second.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the rearward window to regulator bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the rear door frame molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .
  12. Install the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  13. Install the inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  14. Adjust the rear window as nessessary. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Adjustment .
  15. Install the inner energy absorber. Refer to Rear Door Energy Absorber Pad Replacement .
  16. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  17. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
