  1. Set the transaxle gear selector to the PARK position.
  2. Connect a DMM between the battery positive terminal and the starter solenoid terminal B.
  3. While measuring voltage on DMM, momentarily turn the ignition switch to the START position.

Is the measured voltage less than the indicated value?

0.5 V

Go to Step 2

  1. Connect a DMM between the battery negative terminal and G113.
  2. While measuring voltage on the DMM, momentarily turn the ignition switch to the START position.

Is the measured voltage less than the indicated value?

0.5 V

Go to Step 3

Connect a remote starter switch between the starter solenoid terminal S and the battery positive terminal.

Does the starter crank?

Repair the high resistance or the poor connection in starter circuit.

Replace the battery positive cable. Refer to Battery Cable Replacement for service procedure.
