Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 689959  Size: SH
  3. Remove the console compartment door panel screws.

  4. Object Number: 689967  Size: SH
  5. Remove the console front compartment screws.

  6. Object Number: 689965  Size: SH
  7. Remove the console front compartment from the floor console by pulling out.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 689965  Size: SH
  1. Position the console front compartment to the floor console.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.


    Object Number: 689967  Size: SH
  3. Install the console front compartment screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the console front compartment screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the console front compartment door panel screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the console compartment door panel screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
