Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 759221 Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the frame brace mounting bolts.
  3. Remove the frame brace.

    4. Object Number: 730787 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fuel tank shield to the frame retaining bolts and nut.
  5. Remove the fuel tank shield from the frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 730787 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel tank shield to the frame.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fuel tank shield to the frame retaining bolts and nut and tighten to 32 N·m (24 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 759221 Size: SH
  3. Install the frame brace.
  4. Install the frame brace mounting bolts and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
