The adjusters are new and not broken in (the required break-in period is 20 cycles).

Operate the seat to the fall-forward and the full-rearward positions several times in order to work the new tightness out of the channels.

The adjuster(s) are improperly lubricated.

Lubricate the adjuster channels with AutoLube A or an equivalent.

The adjuster(s) are binding, due to being bent or from damaged channels.

Replace the adjuster(s).

The restraint bracket interferes with the seat adjuster.

1. Loosen the seat mounting nut.
2. Reposition the bracket parallel with the seat track.
