1. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position on the headlamp and instrument panel (IP) lamp dimmer switch.
2. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the HIGH position.
3. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe between the instrument cluster connector C2 terminal Q to ground.

Did the test lamp light?

Go to Step 2

1. Repair the following connections in CKT 11 between S219 and the instrument cluster harness connector C2 terminal Q or between C2 terminal O and ground.
2. Inspect the system.

1. Inspect the high beam indicator bulb. Refer to High Beam Indicator Inoperative .
2. If OK, service the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
3. Inspect the system.
