  1. Set the gear selector to the PARK position.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the START position.
  3. Measure the voltage from the battery positive terminal to the starter solenoid terminal B.

Is the voltage equal to the specified value?

0-0.5V

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the START position.
  2. Measure the voltage from the battery negative terminal to G113.

Is the voltage equal to the specified value?

0-0.5V

Connect a remote starter switch between the starter solenoid terminal S and the battery positive terminal.

Does the starter crank?

Repair the high resistance or the poor connection in the starter circuit.
