Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Lower the steering column.
  3. Remove the key hole lamp. Refer Ignition Lock Cylinder Bulb Replacement.
  4. Disconnect the immobilizer electrical connector.
  5. Remove the immobilizer.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1885470 Size: SH
  1. Install the immobilizer.
  2. Connect immobilizer electrical connector.
  3. Install key hole lamp. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Bulb Replacement.
  4. Connect the negative battery.
  5. Perform immobilizer reprogramming procedure. Refer to Theft Deterrent Control Module Programming and Setup
