Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1860458 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Disconnect the TCM electrical connectors from the TCM.
  3. Remove the transaxle control module (TCM) retaining nuts, then TCM.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the TCM electrical connectors to the TCM.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the TCM, then the retaining nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining nuts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

  3. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
