A/C MOAN REDUCTION BRACE AND BRACKET INSTALLATION

MODELS/YEARS 1982-83 CUTLASS SUPREME, 88,98 & TORONADO WITH 3.8L OR 4.1 L V-6 ENGINE

This bulletin supersedes Dealer Technical Bulletin 83-T-22, which should be discarded.

Some 1982-83 Cutlass Supreme, Delta 88, Ninety-Eight and Toronado models equipped with a 3.8L (VIN Code A) or 4.1 L (VIN Code 4) V-6 engine and air conditioning may experience a moan condition at 50-55 mph or approximately 1,300 engine rpm.

The brace and bracket used in production for 1984 models will correct this condition.
