The power sunroof (option CF5) is electronically operated from a switch. The switch is located in the overhead console. When you depress the switch rearward, the glass slides rearward into the storage space between the roof and the headliner.

Depressing the switch forward cause the glass panel to move to the closed position. If the switch is pressed forward again while the glass is in the closed position, the rear edge of the glass will raise to the vent position. In order to close the glass from the vent position, push the switch rearward. Depress the switch for each separate position. For electrical diagnosis of the sunroof, refer to Power Sunroof System Check .

The sliding panel is designed in order to allow controlled water entry at the seal. There are 4 drain hoses. One drain hose is located at each corner of the sunroof housing. The drain hoses provide drainage. Proper glass panel adjustment should result in a snug fit between the following components:

    • The seal
    • The roof

Inspect the seal by inserting a business card between the roof and the seal. Maintenance of this minimal gap is essential in order to prevent the entry of more water than the sunroof drains are able to handle. Adjust the glass panel height in order to complete all of the glass panel-to-roof adjustments.
