  1. Close the left front door.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Unbuckle the driver's seat belt.

  2. The FASTEN BELTS indicator illuminates for 70 seconds.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Buckle the driver's seat belt.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
    • The fasten safety belt chime does not sound.
    • The FASTEN BELTS indicator illuminates for approximately 5 seconds (bulb check).

  1. Close the left front door.
  2. Start the engine.
  3. Turn the left or the right turn signal ON.
  4. Drive the vehicle for approximately 1.2 km (3/4 mile).

  1. Apply the park brake.
  2. Drive the vehicle for approximately 12 m (40 ft).

  3. Open the left front door.
