Cigar Lighter Housing Replacement Pontiac w/ Center Console

1. Open the armrest bin lid.
2. Remove the armrest bin rear trim plate. Refer to Console Rear Trim Plate Replacement .
3. Disconnect the cigar lighter electrical connector.
4. Remove the cigar lighter socket retainer.
5. Remove the cigar lighter socket (2).

1. Install the cigar lighter socket (2).
2. Install the cigar lighter socket retainer.
3. Connect the cigar lighter electrical connector.
4. Install the armrest bin rear trim plate. Refer to Console Rear Trim Plate Replacement .
5. Close the armrest bin lid.

Cigar Lighter Housing Replacement Pontiac

1. Remove the instrument panel cluster upper trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .



2. Remove cigar lighter socket retainer.
3. Remove the cigar lighter socket (1).

1. Install the cigar lighter socket (1) to the IP trim plate.
2. Install the cigar lighter socket retainer.
3. Install the IP cluster upper trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .

Cigar Lighter Housing Replacement Buick/Oldsmobile

1. Pull rearward the ashtray.
2. Disconnect electrical connector (2).
3. Remove the cigar lighter socket retainer.
4. Remove the cigar lighter socket.

1. Install the cigar lighter socket.
2. Install the cigar lighter socket retainer.
3. Connect the electrical connector (2).
4. Push forward the ashtray.
