Makes 🢒 Oldsmobile 🢒 2001 🢒 Intrigue 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Throttle Body Heater Outlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L.

    2. Object Number: 308963 Size: SH
  2. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
  3. Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket. Refer to Accelerator Control Cable Bracket Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
  4. Partially drain the coolant from the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  5. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp (2) from the surge tank inlet hose pipe.
  6. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose (1) from the surge tank inlet hose pipe (3).

    7. Object Number: 308958 Size: SH
  7. Remove the throttle body heater clamp from the throttle body.
  8. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose from the throttle body.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 308958 Size: SH
  1. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose to the throttle body.
  2. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp to the throttle body.

    3. Object Number: 308963 Size: SH
  3. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose to the surge tank inlet hose pipe.
  4. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp (1) to the surge tank inlet hose pipe (3).
  5. Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  6. Install the accelerator controls cable bracket. Refer to Accelerator Control Cable Bracket Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
  7. Install the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
  8. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L.
  9. Inspect for leaks.
