Is the LOW WASHER FLUID level indicator on when the washer fluid level is OK?

  1. Disconnect the windshield wash solvent level switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the on position.

Is the LOW WASHER FLUID level indicator on?

Replace the windshield washer solvent level switch. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 15

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the off position.
  2. Leave the windshield washer solvent level switch disconnected.
  3. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  4. Using a DMM, measure the resistance between the instrument cluster harness connector terminal B7 and ground.

Is the measured resistance same as the specified value?

Go to Step 7

Repair the short to ground in circuit 99.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

  1. Disconnect the windshield washer solvent level switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the on position.
  3. Connect a 3A fused jumper between the windshield washer solvent level switch harness connector terminal B and ground.

Is the LOW WASHER FLUID level indicator on?

  1. Disconnect fused jumper from previous step.
  2. Connect the 3A fused jumper between the windshield washer solvent level switch harness connector terminal A and terminal B.

Is the LOW WASHER FLUID level indicator on?

Replace the windshield washer solvent level switch. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 15

Repair a poor connection or open in circuit 1250 between the windshield washer solvent level switch terminal A and G101.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 15

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the off position.
  2. Leave the fused jumper connected between the windshield washer solvent level switch harness connector terminal B and ground.
  3. Disconnect the instrument cluster.
  4. Using a DMM, measure the resistance between the instrument cluster harness connector terminal B7 and ground.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

3 ohms

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the off position.
  2. Reconnect the connectors and reinstall the components that were removed.
  3. Clear the instrument panel diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Refer to Clearing DTCs .
  4. Inspect for instrument cluster DTCs. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Displaying .

Are there any instrument cluster DTCs present?
