If an intermittent or in-operative center high mounted stop lamp due to a melted socket is encountered in a Firenza Style 37 or Cutlass Ciera Style 37, both sockets must be installed using part number 5972532 available from GMSPO. All service stock of this part uses a new heat resistant material. The production stock was corrected beginning with the following VIN breakpoints:
