QUARTER WINDOW GLASS LOOSE REPLACE SWING OUT GLASS

SUBJECT: SWING OUT QUARTER WINDOW GLASS LOOSE AT HINGES (REPLACE SWING OUT GLASS)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991-92 "B" CAR (WAGONS ONLY) CHEVROLET CAPRICE WAGON OLDSMOBILE CUSTOM CRUISER WAGON BUICK ROADMASTER WAGON

THIS BULLETIN HAS BEEN REVISED TO CORRECT P/N USAGE.**

CONDITION:

---------- Some customers may comment about swing out quarter window glass that becomes loose at the hinge area.

CAUSE:

------ Hinge bond material releases.

CORRECTION:

----------- Replace the swing out glass only, using the following part numbers and the procedure found in the Service Manual, Section 10-7.

P/N 12506797 Right Side P/N 12506798 Left Side

IMPORTANT: 1. Do not attempt to reglue the hinge to the glass.

2. Do not replace the complete quarter glass module to make this repair.

For vehicles repaired under warranty use:

Labour Operation: C-0530 Right Side C-0531 Left Side Labour Time: 0.3 Hr. 0.3 Hr.
