The labor time allowance for the replacement of a GM Goodwrench 350 diesel engine has been revised as noted below. The revised time allowances are effective with the July 1984 revision of the Labor Time Guide.

Labor Time Allowances:

1978-79 Models J7-915-01 8.5 hr. 8.9 hr. 10.2 hr. 1980-84 MOdels J1840 8.5 hr. 8.9 hr. 10.2 hr.

Add: With Cruise Control .1 hr. .1 hr. With Air Conditioning .4 hr. Replace Governor Weight Retaining Ring (if required) .7 hr. .7 hr. .7 hr.

Includes: drain and refill engine oil (if required) and coolant. Transfer oil pan and pump on Toronado. Chcek injection pump governor weight retainer ring. Make all necessary adjustments including timing. Also includes time to transfer all required parts.
