The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
Wind whistle noise from the front dashboard area, at speeds above 65 MPH (105 KM/H). The cause is due to gapping in the sealer between the two pieces of sheet metal at the lower A-pillar to cowl area.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Remove the dash pad and A-pillar trim. Where the windshield contacts that cowl and A-pillar, add additional sealer from inside the vehicle, to the affected seam.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
