Note - Excludes trucks equipped with the Allison transmission (RPO M74 / MW7)



The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some customers may comment of an automatic transmission fluid leak(s) from under the vehicle. This may happen on trucks of higher age and/or mileage. Diagnosis would reveal fluid dampened transmission lines, most likely concentrated near areas of high surface corrosion.

Note: Trucks equipped with the Allison Transmission (RPO M74 / MW7) are not included in this PI.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
