Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the seat belt buckle assembly.
  3. Remove the seat latch rod. Refer to Rear Seat Latch Rod Replacement - Rear Seat Number 2 .
  4. Remove the seat riser latch assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Riser Latch Assembly Replacement .
  5. Remove the seat adjuster cross bar. Refer to Rear Seat Adjuster Cross Bar Replacement - Rear Seat Number 2 .

    6. Object Number: 824164 Size: SH
  6. Unhook the J-strip (1) from the bottom of the seat back cover.
  7. Remove the hog rings (2) from the seat back cover flaps.
  8. Pull the seat cover up to expose the rear seat back mounting bolts.

    9. Object Number: 824165 Size: SH
  9. Remove the two rear seat back mounting bolts (1) securing the inner riser assembly to the seat back frame.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the two rear seat back mounting bolts (1) securing the inner riser assembly to the seat back frame.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat back mounting bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  2. Pull the seat cover back down over the seat pad.

    3. Object Number: 824164 Size: SH
  3. Secure the seat back cover flaps to the pad with the hog rings (2).
  4. Install the J-strip (1) on the bottom of the seat back cover.
  5. Install the seat adjuster cross bar. Refer to Rear Seat Adjuster Cross Bar Replacement - Rear Seat Number 2 .
  6. Install the seat riser latch assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Riser Latch Assembly Replacement .
  7. Install the seat latch rod. Refer to Rear Seat Latch Rod Replacement - Rear Seat Number 2 .
  8. Install the seat belt buckle assembly.
  9. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
