Makes 🢒 Oldsmobile 🢒 2003 🢒 Aurora 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.0L 🢒 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right side front engine mount. Refer to Engine Front Mount Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 481563 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the engine oil pressure switch (1).
  3. Remove the engine oil pressure switch (1) from the oil filter adapter (3).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 481563 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine oil pressure switch (1) to the oil filter adapter (3).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the engine oil pressure switch to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).

  2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the engine oil pressure switch (1).
  3. Install the right side front engine mount. Refer to Engine Front Mount Replacement .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Adjust the engine oil level to the full mark.
  6. Inspect for oil leaks after engine start up.
