This bulletin is being issued to eliminate the Service Bay Test from the Service Information diagnostic procedures and it has also been disabled from the Tech 2 Scan Tool for the engine families listed above.
This information has been updated within SI2000 for the 2000 through 2002 model years. If you are using a paper version of the Service Manuals listed above, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page.
The technician is now instructed to use the verification procedure referenced in the Test Guidelines for Use of Essential Tool J 41413-200, Evaporative Emissions System Tester, in Corporate Bulletin Number 01-06-04-044.
