Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 601156 Size: SH
  1. Remove the vacuum line (3) from shut-off valve.

    2. Object Number: 650768 Size: SH
  2. Remove the shut-off valve to the outlet pipe and bracket fasteners.

    3. Object Number: 601175 Size: SH
  3. Remove the shut-off valve (1) from the bracket and hose.
  4. Clean gasket surfaces as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 601175 Size: SH
  1. Install the shut-off valve (1) to the bracket and hose.

    2. Object Number: 650768 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the shut-off valve to outlet pipe fasteners.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the vacuum line (3) to the shut-off valve.
