Front Floor Console Rear Air Outlet Deflector Housing Replacement Buick

1. Remove the console compartment door hinge. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Door Hinge Replacement .
2. Remove the console rear closeout cover from the top of the console accessory cover.



3. Using a flat-bladed tool carefully disengage the rear air outlet deflector (1) from the console accessory cover.



4. To gain access to the air valve linkage carefully pull outward on the top of the console accessory cover in order to disengage the upper retainers.
5. Disconnect the rear air valve linkage (2) from the rear air deflector (1).



6. Remove the rear air outlet deflector (1).

1. Partially install the rear air outlet deflector (1) to the console accessory cover.



2. Connect the rear air valve linkage (2) to the rear air deflector (1).
3. Push inward on the top of the console accessory cover in order to fasten the top retainers.



4. Push inward on the rear air outlet deflector (1) in order to fasten the deflector to the console accessory cover.
5. Install the console rear closeout cover to the top of the console accessory cover.
6. Install the console compartment door hinge. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Door Hinge Replacement .

Front Floor Console Rear Air Outlet Deflector Housing Replacement Oldsmobile

1. Remove the console compartment door. Refer to Console Compartment Door Replacement .



2. Remove the console compartment door plate fasteners (1).
3. Remove the console compartment door plate.



4. Separate the rear air duct assembly.

Use a flat-bladed tool in order to release the air duct/rear air deflector assembly from the front section of the air duct.

5. Remove the air duct/rear air deflector assembly from the console compartment door.



6. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to release the rear air deflector (1) from the rear air duct (2).

1. Install the rear air deflector to the rear air duct.

Fasten the air deflector retainers (1) to the studs (2) on the air duct.

2. Align the air deflector/air duct to the front section of the air duct in the console compartment door.

Push inward in order to fasten.

3. Install the console compartment door plate.



4. Install the console compartment door plate fasteners (1).
5. Install the console compartment door. Refer to Console Compartment Door Replacement .
