Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 329942  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolt from the lower U-bracket.
  4. Lift up the seat back bolster to disengage the T-hook from the access hole in the rear shelf.
  5. Remove the seat back bolster.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 329942  Size: SH
  1. Pull the shoulder belt away from the seat back bolster area.
  2. Align and engage the T-hook into the access hole in the rear shelf panel.
  3. Pull on the top edge of the seat back bolster while pushing downward. This will properly engage the T-hook.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the bolt on the seat back bolster into the lower U-bracket.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  7. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
