Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 165423 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seat back cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  3. If equipped, remove the split folding rear seat back. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  4. Remove the rear window panel trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Remove the sound insulator from the rear window trim panel.
  6. Remove the rear seat belt retractor anchor plate bolt.
  7. Remove the rear seat belt retractor bolt (1).
  8. Remove the rear seat outer retractor side belt.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 165423 Size: SH

    Important: Remove any twists in the seat belt webbing before final assembly.

  1. Install the rear seat outer retractor side belt.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear seat belt retractor bolt (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear seat belt retractor anchor plate bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  4. Install the sound insulator to the rear window trim panel.
  5. Install the rear window panel trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  7. If equipped, install the split folding rear seat back. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
