Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1937112 Size: SH
  2. Remove the hood latch cover to hood latch retaining scrivet (1).
  3. Remove the hood latch cover (2) from the hood latch.

    4. Object Number: 1995768 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the hood latch wiring connector (1).

    5. Object Number: 1936909 Size: SH
  5. Remove the hood latch to front end module retaining bolts (1).
  6. Detach the hood latch (2) from the front end module.

    7. Object Number: 1936370 Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the hood release cable (2) from the hood latch (1).
  8. Remove the hood latch (1) from the front end module.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1936370 Size: SH
  1. Connect the hood release cable (2) to the hood cable latch (1).

    2. Object Number: 1936909 Size: SH
  2. Position the hood latch (2) to the front end module.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    Important: Do not fully tighten at this stage.

  3. Install the hood latch to front end module retaining bolts (1).

    4. Do not fully tighten at this stage.

  4. Adjust the hood latch. Refer to Hood Latch Adjustment .

    5. Object Number: 1995768 Size: SH
  5. Connect the hood latch wiring connector (1)

    6. Object Number: 1937112 Size: SH
  6. Install the hood latch cover (2) to the hood latch.
  7. Install the hood latch cover to hood latch retaining scrivet (1).
  8. Install the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement .
