Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2046736 Size: SH

    Important: When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

  1. Install a suitable liftgate brace to the vehicle.
  2. Using a suitable tool, carefully disengage the liftgate window side garnish moulding to liftgate window upper and lower garnish moulding retaining clips (1).
  3. Using a suitable tool, carefully disengage the liftgate window side garnish moulding to liftgate retaining clips (2).
  4. Remove liftgate window side garnish moulding (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2046736 Size: SH

    Important: When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

  1. Position the liftgate window side garnish moulding (3) to the liftgate.
  2. Carefully engage the liftgate window side garnish moulding retaining clips (2) to the liftgate. An audible click will confirm correct installation.
  3. Carefully engage the liftgate window side garnish moulding retaining clips (1) to the liftgate window upper and lower garnish mouldings.
  4. Remove the suitable liftgate brace from the vehicle.
