Manual Rear Seat Description and Operation

All vehicles have rear seat backs that folds forward. The vehicle is equipped with a 3 passenger bench seat with a split 60/40 seat back.

The seat back and seat cushions have formed foam pads, which fit the contours of the full panel seat back frame assembly and the designed contours of the seat cushion frame.

All vehicles have built in child seat tether anchors on the rear seat backs for securing child seats to the rear seat backs.

Some models are equipped with a rear seat armrest. Pull the rear seat armrest at the top to fold the rear seat armrest down. To fold the rear seat armrest away, lift the rear seat armrest and push into the rear seat armrest compartment in the rear seat back. Models with an armrest fitted also include a cupholder in the rear seat cushion. Pressing the front face of the cupholder releases it forward, it can then be retracted back into cushion by pushing it rearward until its latch engages.

The seat backs can operate independently from one another. Each seat back has a seat back release latch located at the top outer ends of the seat backs. The seat backs can only be operated in two positions, completely down or upright. Pressing the seat back release button enables the seat back to fold down. When the seat back is lifted to the upright position, the seat back is locked into place by the seat back locks.

The right rear seat back is equipped with a three point safety belt for the centre occupant. The retractor is located on the seat frame below the foam pad.
