Removal Procedure
- Install a suitable liftgate brace to the vehicle.
- Using a suitable tool, carefully disengage the rear end trim finish panel to door frame retaining clips (2).
- Remove rear end trim finish trim panel (1) from the vehicle.
Important: When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
Installation Procedure
- Position the rear end trim finish panel (1) to the door frame.
- Carefully engage the rear end finish trim panel to door frame retaining clips (2) to the door frame. An audible click will confirm correct fitment.
- Remove the suitable liftgate brace from the vehicle.
Important: When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
