Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1309309 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear compartment lock cover.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the screws and the rear compartment lock.
  5. Disconnect the lock rod.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1309309 Size: SH
  1. Connect the lock rod.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear compartment lock with the screws and tighten to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Install the rear compartment lock cover.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
