Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1309046 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  3. Remove the screws and the front door lock.
  4. Disconnect the lock rods.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1309046 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Connect the lock rods.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the front door lock with the screws and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
  4. Install the seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
