Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1289426 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the MAP sensor vacuum hose.
  4. Remove the MAP sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the MAP sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1289426 Size: SH
  1. Install the MAP sensor with the bolt and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
  2. Connect the MAP sensor vacuum hose.
  3. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
