Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2034903 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the object detection module fasteners (1) and disengage the object detection module (2) from the mounting bracket (3).
  4. Disconnect the object detection module electrical connectors (4).

Installation procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2034903 Size: SH
  1. Engage the object detection module (2) onto the mounting bracket (3) and install the object detection module fasteners (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the object detection module fasteners to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  2. Connect the object detection module electrical connectors (4).
  3. Install the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  4. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  5. Check the system for correct operation.
