Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement LWB SWB

Notice: Refer to General Repair Instructions in the Preface section.

1. Remove the I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement.



2. Remove the I/P upper trim panel (1) by disengaging the trim panel retaining clips (2) and removing the I/P upper trim panel from the I/P pad (3).



3. Remove the trim panel to I/P pad upper retaining screws (1).



4. Remove the trim panel to I/P pad lower retaining screws (1).



5. Disengage the trim panel (1) retaining clips and raise the trim panel to gain access to the electrical connector.



6. Disconnect the secondary information centre (2) (SIC) electrical connector (1).



7. Remove the trim panel (1) from the I/P pad.

1. Connect the secondary information centre (2) (SIC) electrical connector (1).



2. Engage the trim panel (1) to I/P pad retaining clips.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




3. Install the trim panel to I/P pad lower retaining screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws (1) to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




4. Install the trim panel to I/P pad upper retaining screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws (1) to 2  N·m (18 lb in).




5. Install the trim panel top cover (1) by engaging the trim panel retaining clips (2) and securing it to the I/P pad.
6. Ensure the trim panel (1) is flush with the I/P pad.
7. Install the I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement.
