Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  2. Remove the right close out panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Remove the hood release handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1957762 Size: SH

    Important: The right side is shown, the left side is similar.

  4. Remove the I/P retainer to I/P carrier retaining screws (1).
  5. Remove the I/P retainer.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1957762 Size: SH
  1. Align the I/P retainer to the I/P carrier.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the I/P retainer to I/P carrier retaining screws (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws (1) to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the hood release handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement .
  4. Install the right close out panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  5. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
